The Best 3 month session to date! Caleb. {Springfield Baby Photographer}

In the world of children’s photography, the 3 month session causes great fear in the heart of many photographers.  Gone are the days of sleepy, pliable newborns but still to come are the sessions with strong, independent infants who are able to support themselves. In between all that is the 3 month session. I’ve spent my fair share of time studying posing and tips to prepare myself and have had a fair amount of experience. However, the three month sessions depends a lot of the ability and the personality of the child and Caleb knocked it out of the park.  He held himself up well, had great eye contact, and played well with us.  Then, he ate and fell into a deep sleep so we could pose him for a few minutes. It was a dream.  Now, I just have to remember it’s not the norm.

The holiday portion of Caleb’s session was amazing and I look forward to using the twinkle lights in the upcoming Holiday season.

Kingston. 2 months. {Springfield Baby Photographer}

This sweet little guy came to see me when he was just shy of turning 3 months. He was a preemie so still sleepy and small for his age.

Too Long. {Springfield Family Photographer}

It had been way too long since the Gregory family had family portraits taken. They are each artists in their own rights and I was honored to travel to their home for the session.

Fabulous in the Fall. {Springfield Family Photographer}

Time has gotten away but I didn’t want to miss sharing some fabulous sessions from this past Fall and Winter.  I’ve had the privilege of watching the girls of the Wallin family grow up. Their first family sessions was one of my first when Captured by Sarah became official.

I’m absolutely honored when my clients choose to share their photographs with their family and friends via a Holiday Card.  Designing and customizing holiday cards brings me great joy.
