Eric ‘10 Senior {Fair Grove Senior Photographer}

It’s always excitingwhen I’m contacted by new clients whom have been referred by former clients.  So was the case with Eric, a 2010 Senior at Fair Grove High School.  As with many Senior guys, Eric was not thrilled about his photo session but I think we made it work!  It was a new challenge for me when he decided to include his motorcyle but I love the results and I think they’re even better in black&white.

One of the reasons I love Senior photography is that it provides great opportunities to showcase young adults’ personalities, talents, and interests.  If your Senior photography session is still ahead of you, begin thinking now how you can highlight your personality, hobbies, and interests.

Drew ‘10 Senior {Willard Senior Photographer}

There for awhile my calendar was full with Senior appointments so, introducing our next Willard 2010 Senior guy, Drew.  Drew is involved in Track and Baseball and many other things I’m sure.  I am thinking that American Eagle is wishing they could borrow a few of these images.

Reid ‘10 Senior {Willard Senior Photographer}

I was honored to be able to capture a few photographs for Reid and his family.  Reid is a 2010 Senior at Willard High School.  Reid’s session included traditional Senior guy photographs as well as a few to show a more natural or “real” side of his personality.

Reid-Thanks for all the great smiles!  Hope I at least kept the torture to a minimum.

Introducing New Product {Springfield Area Senior Photographer}

Introducing the PicWithinPic design item now available and to be featured in future galleries.  This collage-type item combines two or more photographs in a creative way and can be personalized.

Thanks for posing McKenzie, 2010 Willard Senior.

McKenzie ‘10 Senior {Willard Senior Photographer}

I met McKenzie, and her crew, downtown for an Urban Senior session and it just all worked for us.  With her fab style choices, great weather and perfect lighting, we were able to capture a massive number of fabulous shots

I love McKenzie’s confidence and that she knows she wants to go into nursing in the future and is already working toward that goal.

During this session, I tried a few new locations which is always exciting for me.  It’s even better when they work!  Although, I’m sure I’ll be visiting some of these spots again, McKenzie had the privilege of being the first of my clients photographed at the locations featured below.

lovely Lindsay, Class of ‘09

When I arrived at the park in Bolivar for this Class of 2009 Senior Session, I was greeted by a gorgeous young lady, her boy friend (a wonderfully willing assistant), and fabulous weather and lighting conditions.  It doesn’t get much better than a warm and sunny, 55 degrees in November.  So, a special sneak peek for Lindsay while she waits for the rest of her photographs.  I had a hard time deciding between my favorites so I’ll share my top picks.

Lindsay has very model-like features and she generally enjoys a more serious look.  However, we did also capture a few more casual poses.

A special thanks to all my Class of ‘08 &’09 Seniors and their familes who continue to share my work with others.  When I first began shooting Seniors, I was anxious as it takes a different kind of talent and attitude than photographing younger children.  However, now I absolutely love getting to know these young adults at such an exciting time in their lives and trying to match their photographs to their personalities and interests.

Ashley, Senior ‘09

Ashley called early last week and I am so glad we were able to squeeze in an urban Senior ‘09 session.  Usually, by this point in the year the weather for outdoor sessions is beginning to get chancy but not this year.  We had a fantastic time exploring locations around the Square in center Springfield.  The area is definetly prime for seniors desiring a variety of looks with little travel.

There are many gorgeous photographs from Ashley’s session.  I realized that what I loved the most about them was the expression in her eyes.  Whether she is smiling or not, the sparkle always shows in her eyes.

When I began photographing Seniors from the Class of 2008, I had no idea how much I would love it.  With last year’s graduating class and again this year, their excitement is contagious.  Although they are a little apprehensive about the unknown that is ahead, they are also ambitious and ready for the challenge.

Best of luck in the future, Ashley and hopefully the rest of your pictures will be ready for you to view within the week.

Be sure to stop by the Client Galleries, including the Ashley Snr ‘09 gallery, to see all the photographs from each session.

Derrik, Senior ‘09

As promised, a few more from Derrik’s Senior session at Ritter Springs park.  We tried to take advantage of some of the unique locals of this park and came away with some interesting shots.  The suspension bridge was a little more of a hike than we expected and we discovered much of it had been washed downstream but it still provided some fun and defintely added interest to our day.

My personal favs from this session were the ones that combined Derrik’s athletics with the natural backgrounds.  The color in these and many others from the day was great.

Sometimes it all goes right

My recent sessions with Stephanie, Morrisville ‘09 Senior, made my day, my week, perhaps my month.  It’s amazing how sometimes everything comes together and the end result are photographs like these…

Stephanie is a gorgeous talented young lady with a bright future ahead.  We met on two different days, once in center Springfield and again at her school so we could focus on her athletic photographs.  Stephanie has a great smile that radiates her beauty and we had such a fabulous time together.

Special thanks to my “assistant” for these sessions.  One of the most important aspects to Wow photographs is great light and just as we were finishing up downtown, the light was…

Lest you think she’s all smiles, Stephanie is fierce when on the softball field or basketball court.  I wanted to be sure and capture her intensity and I think her eyes said it all…

There are many more beauties to been seen here.  And Stephanie, Thanks for making me SMILE and I hope in some tiny way these photographs help you realize that your beauty matches your incredible character.
